We are currently seeking to fill a full-time, sales position in our Security & Life Safety sales department. This sales position is primarily responsible for sales of security systems such as access control, video surveillance and intrusion systems. We offer:

Sales Position Responsibilities

The Account Executive is primarily responsible for the sales development of new and existing accounts to meet their needs with value, honesty, integrity and commitment.

Specifically responsible for the following:

  • Generate new sales through direct and channel sales with A&E, Contractors and Manufacturers
  • Cultivate and close Security projects and associated services to meet and exceed sales quota
  • Manage a complex sales process and cycle
  • Work with Sales, Engineering and Operations personnel to execute growth, development, sales and marketing of all solutions offered by Sound Inc.
  • Work strategically on new construction projects with A&E, General contractors, and Electrical contractors
  • Design, engineer and estimate security systems
  • Prepare professional presentations, reports and written proposals
  • Attend and participate in Industry Associations, Technology Seminars and Trade shows
  • Take a leadership role with our business partners to support and grow our business development activity
  • Continually learning about new security products and improving selling skills

Job Requirements

Professional Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 3+ years sales experience
  • Knowledge on the design and operation for access control, video surveillance and intrusion systems
  • Knowledge on the following systems a plus: Lenel, AMAG, Brivo, Avigilon, Excaq, Axis, Honeywell and Bosch
  • General understanding of the construction process and working with other trades/divisions
  • Detail Reviews of Security Design, Plans and Specs
  • Excellent Verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Professional Sales Training
